Objectives

Graduates will be competent in elaborating, evaluating, and innovating national and international cuisine, with a strong foundation in science and investigation. Graduates should work to preserve national values and should be able to effectively administer the gastronomic industry, in such a way that they can solve problems and take decisions with humanitarian leadership and with ethical behavior.

After completing the Gastronomy Degree courswork, the graduate will be able to:
  • Perform effectively in restaurant and dining room services
  • Demonstrate a vast gastronomic knowledge Will optimize the use of resources, through the use of technology utilization
  • Plan, direct and evaluate human resources and materials in the gastronomic organization
  • Demonstrate positive leadership qualities
  • Develop and evaluate gastronomic business projects
  • Take decisions based on investigative results from a gastronomic view
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and non verbally
